THIS IS A AWFULL THING. I HAD POSTED BACK LAST SK OF MY MOM HAVING THIS

AND WHEN IT CAME ON SHE WAS STRICKEN SO HARD, SHE STARTED VOMITING EVERYWHERE,

IT SCARED HER, SHE STAYED A FEW DAYS IN HOSP TO GET VOMITING UNDER CONTROL.

SENT HOME TO DO EXERCISE. BUT WAS PRETTY HOUSE BOUND, AND USED CANE AND

NEIGHBORS IF SHE HAD TO GO ANY DISTANCE. SHE WAS REALLY UPSET BECAUSE IT

GROUNDED HER FROM DRIVING FOR A TIME, AND THEN SHE WAS A BIT SCARED WHEN SHE

FELT SHE COULD TRY. HER DR. TOLD HER THAT THE FLUID WE ARE SUPPOSE TO HAVE FOR

EQUALIZING THEY FELT WAS HARDING WHICH CAN HAPPEN WITH AGE, SO SHE TOOK THE MED

MEXQUINAZE AND LAID DOWN ALOT. EXERCISE DID HELP. GOOD GOOD LUCK THAT IT

LEAVES QUICKLY. SHARON

I read something on one of the messages that I get online from

several doctors who said in the intro that the older one gets, they

have found that the older a person is the possiblity of having dizzy

spells. But when I opened the rest of the site, there was not much

more info other than to do some of the balance exercises -- i.e.,

balance on one for so many minutes or seconds and then the other. I

know they are some of the things that I was doing when I went to

physical therapy.
