Guest guest
Holly, I'm not having any issues sleeping at night with the Lyrica. It doesn't seem to make me drowsy during the daytime, but at night, within about 20 minutes of taking it, I'm " gone " ......unless breakthrough pain wakes me up! I think stopping the trazadone (whether on purpose or because you are out) is causing the sleeplessness, especially since you do take Ambien (which I used to take before being dx'd with OSA). Best of luck to you; I know when we all can get a good 6-8 hrs of rested sleep, it helps us fight this monster a little easier! Guest guest
My guess too is stopping trazadone is also causing your sleepless nights. About a month ago I stopped paxil, amitriptiline and didn't sleep for 2 weeks. Two weeks ago I started lyrica and I'm slowly starting to get more sleep. Hope this helps, Judy in Wi ddean228 wrote: Holly, I'm not having any issues sleeping at night with the Lyrica. Guest guest
I had trouble sleeping while on Lyrica, even when I took my Trazodone and Tizanidine. I am not taking Lyrica, since it caused much weight gain and not much pain relief from it. Have felt better since on Cymbalta and Celexa. I still don't sleep well at night. Constant hurt. Dr. thinks I have sleep apnea. Had two sleep studies. I don't feel any different with the mask than with out. > > I am curious if anyone has trouble sleeping at night due to Lyrica?
