SafetyNet Race to Keep Safe FREE Service Campaign!-1500 free bracelets! Hello Tim! My sincere thanks to you for expressing your interest in supporting the SafetyNet Race to Keep Safe program kicking off this week!!! We are so thankful that the majority of organizations we have reached out to so far, are fully supporting this initiative! As a recap, I’m writing to provide you a sneak peak of our SafetyNet™ Race to Keep Safe program. It kicked off Monday, August 15th, and we’re really excited about it. In a nutshell, we’re giving families of anyone with a cognitive condition who’s at risk of wandering (autism, Down Syndrome, Alzheimer’s, etc.) the opportunity to experience SafetyNet for six months at absolutely no cost. Beginning August 15th, caregivers will also be able to enroll their loved ones on-line for the first time. It takes just 5 minutes and should make it easier for busy caregivers since it can be accessed any time of day or night. There’s no obligation to continue with the SafetyNet service after the six-month period is over. Should a caregiver decide to continue the service, we will simply begin billing them at our standard rate of $30/month. (Any fees that have been waived are gone forever.) If they decide to cancel at the end of six months (or anytime before then), they just have to return the SafetyNet bracelet. (We’ll provide shipping materials & pay for return postage.) The program will be available from August 15th to September 30th, or while supplies last. Please note that this program is available anywhere the SafetyNet service is offered. That’s why I’m giving my key contacts advance notice. On August 15th, we will be making the announcement public, as will our community partners. I want to be sure that families in Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties have full opportunity to take advantage of the program. Until August 15th, please don’t share the info because we don’t want to disappoint anyone who calls or tries to log in early. On or after August 15th, we would encourage you to share the info in as many ways as possible. To make it easy for you, I am providing you with the following: · Email text that describes the program (so you can email your families) · A Facebook post and Tweet · A brief newsletter article · 8½ x 11 “SafetyNetflyers†(to use for e-mail blasting, a backpack mailing or to give out at meetings & events) (e-mailed here and have professionally printed ones to bring to you) · A direct mail piece (we’ll pay for a third-party service who can do the mailing for you & then destroy the list) · A website “button†that mentions six months free & links to the SafetyNet website P.S. Attached are announcements in various forms for the SafetyNet Race to Keep Safe program that begins Monday, August 15th. I put the email text, Facebook posts, website links, etc. all in one Word document so you can see everything we have available. (For example, we have four website link options for you to choose from. You can view them side-by-side on the Word document, and I’ve included the corresponding JPG files.) I’ve also attached a PDF of our flyer, and printed copies just arrived. Please let me know when I can stop by to bring the flyers to your center. Could you please send me a copy (bcc is fine) of the email when you send it? It will save us both a follow-up call. I want to keep our staff in the loop about potential spikes in call volume. The sooner the better!!! Thanks again for your support, and if you have any questions, please let me know.
