Guest guest
Hello, I'm Shakeva and I am a sufferer of VVS.(Vulvar Vestibulitis Syndrome.) I also have recurring of bv. Do trycylic antideppresants (Amitriptylin) work for chronic pain, and do anyone douche?
Guest guest
I don't know about douching. I don't think it is good for VVS to put chemicals on your vulva skin however. Yes, tricyclic antidepressants such as amitriptyline and nortriptyline work. They may not cure the problem but they certainly take the edge off the pain. I suggest you look for Hope Haefner's long article in the " files " section of this site. It describes many different treatments and suggestions, both medications and practical things you can do to help yourself. > > Hello, I'm Shakeva and I am a sufferer of VVS.(Vulvar Vestibulitis Syndrome.) Guest guest
How do I get to Hope Haefner's article? I went to the vulva disorders home page and looked up files, but I didn't see her name. > > Subject: Re: VVS/Recurring BV > To: VulvarDisorders > Date: Sunday, October 5, 2008, 10:43 PM > I don't know about douching.
