Intensive v. Specialized ESE programs

Good Afternoon. My son was recently diagnosed under the autism spectrum and I am placing him in a ESE preschool in Broward. I am learning as I go in this unfamiliar territory and ask if anyone has recommendations concerning placement in intensive v. specialized. He is mild to moderate on the spectrum. Also, if anyone has comments concerning Banyan and/or Broadview Elementary specifically. Thank you for your help.
