Guest guest
My daughter has been getting increased pains in her lower abdomen. The pain usually passes after a while if I can get her to lay down and rest. She also seems to be complaining of itching alot more too. Does this possibly mean her PSC is progressing? Any help is much appreciated - her next GI appointment is not until December and I can't get any answers from them. Thank you, (mommy to Lynna Grace 8yrs old, PSC 04/05) __________________________________________________
Guest guest
Have they done any recent liver function blood tests ALT/AST and GGT, billirubin? You should ask then to do so. We do Tylers every few weeks. When he has pain and jaundice, his levels are usually elevated. Is she on Urso/Actigal? Guest guest
Thank you - she is on Urso. Last time she had her liver function test was a few months ago and it was fine. __________________________________________________
Guest guest
I got extreme pain in my j-pouch while on Urso about 4 years ago. The G.I. I was seeing (Mt. Sinai hospital in NYC) had me immediately go off it and he said " you'll never go back on that again " . Good luck to you! Jarad > > Thank you - she is on Urso.
