Plus, our insurance just changed at work and none of our doctors treating Tyler

from Childrens Memorial

Hospital in Chicago

are in the new plan so I am not sure what we are going to do

,

Take a deep breath,

drop your shoulders, everything is going to be OK. Your insurance changes & Tyler’s doctors, shouldn’t be a problem. When you get all the information on the

new insurance plan, make an appointment with each of his doctors. Then you simply tell them about the insurance

changes at work, tell them you don’t want new doctors for Tyler and ask them if they will “accept” the new insurance. I bet 100% will say “yeah sure”,

unless the new insurance is a real dog, and I doubt it is. Doctors do this all the time, they don’t

care who pays them – as long as someone does ;-) Accepting new insurance is a piece of

cake for them. Don’t spend

one minute worrying about this. Ken

has done this several times with different jobs he has had.

If Tyler can get Medicaid – do it. This is another insurance change that

most doctors will accept, especially

if the Medicaid is a secondary policy. When you go into the Medicare/Medicaid office,

be sure to ask the people there if

there is any other help you can apply for.

Apply for anything you find, even if you don’t think you have a

chance of getting it.

Don’t worry, you’ve

got a good handle on the best thing for Tyler’s care – lots of love.
