Hello anyone and all,

I'm new to this group and have only posted one time. I would like

more information on applying for disability. My doctor wishes for me

to apply. I'm only 37 but this has been pure hell for the last 7

years. Worst than my RA.

I live here in Michigan near the Detroit area. I don't have a

psychiatric doctor? Should I? What should I expect and how long

should it take? I currently work full time (when I can) and I'm on

FMLA which only let's me take off for 3-5 days per episode and twice

a month. It doesn't pay me and I usually use up my sick days.

Any help will do. Yes, I'm a single female with two young adult

children and my daughter age 19 is showing early signs of it.

Thank you and god bless,

Marchelle

for SSD the first of Sept. I have filled out the numerous questioners

they have sent me. Now they have sent me an appointment with one of

their doctors for a " Mental Exam " before making a decision in my

case. does anyone know or been through this what it is all about? and

what to expect and all that good stuff? Thanks in advance in

Indiana

Welcome to the group, and I am sure others will have the answers you are

looking for. I plan on doing the same thing but keep putting it off waiting for

some kind of a miracle. LOL

Again welcome,

Hi Marchelle, Welcome to the group.

I'm so sorry that you have Fibromyalgia and that it has been such a nightmare

for you.

I know many people in this group are on SSDI and can help you with that. Some

are applying for it now.

I am also a divorced woman with 3 grown children and 5 grandchildren. Any

help I can give you on anything else, be sure to ask.

We are here to support you,

Marti
