Guest guest
Hi , I am really new at this and i am trying to get as much info as possible. Do you have good days and bad days? My sleep habbits actually have been un-affected by this FM,well actually I feel like I can sleep anywhere any time. I once fell asleep standing up in a business meeting here....but I think that it was the speaker we had....lol I have been trying something new and although it has been working I still want to be able to understand what I am up against here. I used to work out and be quite active in Tae-kwon-do and the slightest work out now puts me on my knee's for a while. I also noticed that I am the new weather reporter here....I can tell when bad storms are come and if there is going to be an artic blast...is this natural? > Same here debra. Yep, it's par for the course. Just like having arthritis will let you predict the weather. Guest guest
I really dont' have good days or bad days where the pain is concerned. My pain levels usually stay pretty consistant. With taking all my medications and supplements I can usually keep the pain to around a 5-6. If I do soemthing very strenuous it will jump up to around 8-9 but only for a short while. The thing that really flutuates for me is the fatigue level. Some days I am just totally exhausted and will never leave my office at work because on those days I am usually also light headed and my balance is off. Other days the fatigue is light and if I take my time I can do things like clean some in the house, go to flea markets etc. My daughter is wonderful when we go places about us taking it slow and resting, plus she got her driver's license last year so now she can drive and I can nap on the way to an event/outing or on the way home. I can definatley tell when I miss taking my Bcomplex and green tea as my fatigue levels are worse. I have discovered (when I was on vacation for two weeks last year) that if I dont' have to work and can set my schedule to my body's rhythm that the pain gets cut about in half and the fatigue disappears GREATLY!!! unfortinately, that's not real life... I have to work to support me and my kids... not a guy out there that wants to marry me and give me a house/pool/hottub so I can baby myself damn it LOL I hope you find some answers to all your questions. I know it is scary just starting out learning about this illness. N.
Guest guest
I have more than 400 posts to go through. No, I haven't checked my e-mails this week. I just wanted to say that I never sleep deep. I can hear all the sounds around me at night and I wake up several times when I turn to the other side and back again. I don't know, but I read somewhere that the fibro brain never sleeps. During nights our poor brain has wakelike activity. This has been measured by doctors. Usually I don't turn to the other side because I am in pain. It's just uncomfortable after a few minutes. -- --- debra van ness wrote: > I have been thinking about this. Guest guest
, (beautiful name by the way, my middle name is ) I know my Mom had mentioned to me about a study done that said fibro may be caused by lack of deep sleep. That was several years ago so who knows. I do know that when I have a poor night's sleep, the fibro feels like it's flaring up in pain. Sometimes I can get a good night of restful sleep and then feel pretty good the next day. Melody > I have more than 400 posts to go through. No, I > haven't checked my e-mails this week.
