Guest guest
Hi Cy, what a wonderful person you are to take medical responsibility for 's friend. You are one awesome lady! Reading about all he has to deal with on the cystic fibrosis, it makes me count my blessings that I " just " have kidney disease! In a message dated 9/1/2005 8:53:56 P.M. Pacific Daylight Time, cyashleywebb@... writes: Quick story: my son's best friend - a cystic fibrosis kid - slept over recently. Mind you, this called for three shopping bags full of medical equipment and meds and nebulizers and chest pummelling devices and two pages of detailed instructions for administering and using the stuff. I kept having to double check the notes just to make sure we were doing it right and doing it on time. I remember the kid saying he was worried about going to college because he always did something wrong with the med. routine. I had to blink back tears because I was barely getting through his routine.
Guest guest
Oh Pierre! Thunder Bay --- the place that's famous for opals??? I've always wanted to go there. Good luck getting her on the plane. This sounds fabulous. Guest guest
Thank you to all who have replied to my post. I am going to look into the birth control I am on, which is Yaz. I can't imagine my life without it. I have only been on it 3 months and it has been a life saver. I have thought for years that I must have endometriosis because it has been so difficult to live a normal life, i have such horrible pain. I have blurred vision, everyones voices echo, I cannot sit, stand, or really do anything while the pain is going on except lay in bed and wait for it to pass which normally takes 6 hours or I will eventually pass and wake upwore out from the experience. With the birth control I have no pain at all. So it will definately not be nice if the birth control is good for the pain but bad for the vestibulitis. I'm going to try the calcium citrate as well and see if it helps. I use dye free laundrey detergent and I do not use fabric softener or dryer sheets because I have always had sensitive skin. I hope to get all this under control. I hate having to rely on taking medication everyday to be " normal " .
