Guest guest
http://www.vulvodynia-treatment.com/about-vulvodynia.html , i bought this book a year ago and I am just now following it. I will not take medication as i got this way from taking Cipro. THE MEDS seem to weaken my immune system. If you do choose to follow this, I found the calendula cream so much cheaper if you buy ti on line and not from them directly. I did not check the other vitamins as I got them as a package. The calcium seems to constipate me some so I had to up the magnesium. I will also ad another link that I found about natural healing but it look strict, but right now, I am to the point that I will do about anything to get well so if it means giving up my wine, Starbucks, and ice cream, I think I am going to do it..about 4 years now for me and I always wanted to get remarried and have kids and turn 44 next week and VV has kept me from all of this. Not going to let it reunion my life another year that is for sure!
Guest guest
thank you for this info. as a matter of fact a girlfriend of mine had come across this so last night i ordered the month supply with all the stuff and the book. what the heck i'll try anything at this point. i figure with the kit i can see all the doses and types of vitamins and restock them myself from my local store if it's less expensive. if the cream works i'll keep ordering it. have you used this calendula cream or the estrogen & testosterone cream? the kit is suppose to have a formula for a componding cream too. i hear you on the antibiotics. all i have to do is smell one and i get a yeast infection. but i think mine was started by going off the hormones and then about 2 months later seemed ok, but i douched and that started this weird burning, ended up at the gyny a week later and he said "i think it's yeast", i don't think it ever was. anyway, he gave me a 3 day terconazole cream and omg. my entire body was burning up by the third day. and that's how the nightmare started. stay in touch and let me know if the book helps you. not sure when i will get mine but i hope the diet isn't too hard to follow. i don't cook to speak of and I'm a disaster in the kitchen. good luck.Subject: Re: Elavil starting dosage?-To: VulvarDisorders Date: Saturday, October 11, 2008, 12:48 PM http://www.vulvodyn ia-treatment. com/about- vulvodynia. html , i bought this book a year ago and I am just now following it. Guest guest
how ironic that someone just mentioned this to u. I mentioned this on another website and got accused of trying to sell products so I was a leary about mentioning this as they thought I was getting a cut off of it and I do not even know the woman who wrote the book but wish I tried the program sooner. From your post, it makes me wonder if I got this when I went off bio identical progestrone that I was given to help prevent my endometriosis from coming back. It began to feel werid down there but then wehn I took Cipro and a 3 month yeast infection, all hell broke loose. That is when the pain really started. The monostate and other anti yeast just made things worse. I di the same as you. I bought everything from them in the kit and then bought stuff separately. I use a compnay that has no added fillers at all in thier vitamins and can give you that website if you ever need to order them. I have really just began to use the estrogen and testestrone. I think I mentioned that I strted getting sided effects from them but I did notice that when I cut out coffee, the hormones seem much more in balance and the side efects do not bother me so much now. It really hleped as I was beginning to get what they call a web as i was getting scar tissue that was covering my vulva for protection. The body is amazing and always trying to heal. I will share an e-mail from a woman that is on the Lichens Sclerosis site that got amazing results by going to an all natural diet. I personally want to get to the root of this beast! Do you think going off prestrone may have caused my problem? The more I am reading hormones do seem to pla a huge role. My periods though are 28 days and I have not complications with them. Guest guest
so you where on bio identical ones, interesting. i keep reading that those are the good ones. i don't know where to get them. but i'm starting to think all hormones are bad. sure sounds like it could have been the progesterone for you. but i'm no dr. i was only on estrogen (premarin) because i've had a hysterectomy and don't need the progesterone. of course the drs keep telling me my hormones are fine and won't even admit the possiblity that the hormones caused this. except for the dermatologist up at mayo who was the one who diagnosised this. she said "i really can't answer that for sure, but i can see where it could be a definite possiblity." may have been shock to my system. i had double the hormones in me that i needed so even though when i went off them my levels where still good, the fact that i had so much in me and then just dropped them could have been enough to throw them off balance and triggered this. i've even been tempted to go back on them at a low dose for a while and then ween off of them to see if it helped. but that might add insult to injury. and these dr's really don't know anything about these hormones. I'm so sick of this. if i had a dollar for every day this coochie of mine has given me problems, not even counting this issue, i could go on one hell of a great vacation!! and i have friends that have never had so much as a yeast infection. i sure envy those people.anyway, if you could give me the web site that you order your vitamins from that would be great. i try to buy only the good ones, but you really never know for sure when you go into some of these stores and the clerks don't know anything. the place i used to go is gone now. So I've been going to the Vitamin Shoppe. but it's a chain and i know some of there stuff isn't the greatest.thanks againSubject: Re: Elavil starting dosage?-To: VulvarDisorders Date: Saturday, October 11, 2008, 10:15 PM how ironic that someone just mentioned this to u. Guest guest
I am curious what company you have used to get your vitamins and supplements from. I have order things from Natures Sunshine. Alot of times those chain stores don't have very knowledgable people.
Guest guest
I buy the supplements that I don't get at my Dr's office at vitacost.com. It has the very lowest prices and only 4.99 shipping. The NSI brand is very good. > > I am curious what company you have used to get your vitamins and supplements from.
