I have heard mixed results on this. I had a friend with a child with severe glutein allergies, in other words he would throw up after eating anything with gluten. This child was typical though. Anyway they did several bouts of treatment and spent a lot of money to no avail. I use Dr. Snyder in Fort Lauderdale. I started to treat my son two month ago and heard great things from other moms that are doing the treatment longer then me.

This type of treatment is garbage! There is no evidence that this type of treatment works. My son was going and it was expensive and useless. If insurance does not cover it, that is a clue!"It is never too late to become what you might have been" ElliotChase your dreams because they won't chase you - Dawn Naet

I have done quite a number of year of NAET with my son with much success and always had insurance coverage because I went to a chiropractor and this was his treatment. So there is insurance coverage. There is an Oriental Medicine Doctor in Miami who covers under insurance as well. So you can't equate the efficacy of the therapy with whether it's covered or not by insurance...just do more research...

NAET is effective in stopping the histamine reaction so the allergy in question doesn't exist anymore. But of course, as is with any therapy with autism you need to give the therapy enough time so you can see over an arch of time the results. The degree of "neurological allergies" in these children can give you an indication of how much time and perseverance is necessary in order to see results. You are not dealing with a normal immune system or normal neurological system. But it's non invasive and enjoyable for the child. That's a much better choice than needles. And of course NAET doesn't stand alone because it works well with other biomedical therapies trying to shift the immune system from a TH 2 (high viral high allergy zone) to a TH 1 (strong T Cell support and no allergies).

However, I will say that there are other options out there now (because when I was doing NAET with my son there were not a lot of options) for parents, but that doesn't take away from the effectiveness and legitimacy of this therapy for anyone who suffers from allergies.

This is ENERGY medicine just as is homeopathy, EAV machines, QXCI and many other variations of energy medicine. This will not be embraced by many people (as we can see), but for those of us who embrace out of the box thinking, this can be a very important breakthrough in addressing your child's allergies.

How long did your son go? What are the recommended sessions? I thought it was odd sounding and wondered how it could possibly be effective but have heard from those who followed the treatment to the end successful outcomes. Whether that be due to the treatment or perhaps a placebo effect, who knows? And who cares? Sounds worth it to me if it helps. Tho I'm not sure our kids could be affected by the placebo effect... It would be us a's parents who could be affected... But either one has allergies or one does not... I don't know but great that it's worked for some.Anyone know the difference between this (neat) and the bax3000? I explored that for my son. I have a friend whose neurotypicals son received this type of therapy for allergies and found it successful. Sent from my iPhone

Naet has proven to be very affective. I was first introduced to it by 3 different clients that didn't know eachother! I have been going my self and am actually cured of all food alergies and escema which I have been suffering from since I was a small child. I have NO more issues with my skin and I have Dr. Fergang to thank! She is a Naet specialist in Sunrise, FL. I am a behavior coach and I have reccomended some of my clients to her. They have reported great results. You just have to stick with it and you will see relsuts!! Let me know if I can get you any information for Dr. Fergang.
