Cape Coral: Free Workshop: Benefits and Tax Planning for the Special Needs Family

and I (www.prosperitylifeplanning.org) have been invited back to speak in

Cape Coral, at the July 20th meeting of the Family Care Council for District 8.

This program is free and open to all parents, grandparents and support personnel

who address the special needs community of Florida's beautiful west coast.

We will be presenting our 90-minute program, " Benefits and Tax Planning for

Special Needs Families, " a general overview of the elements of planning, geared

to having the people, documents and resources required to provide a more safe

and secure support system for your family member.

As parents ourselves, we have spoken to thousands of parents, and counseled

hundreds of families over the past 15 years. Our focus is also to help you save

money on your taxes, by providing advice on the many expenses that may be

tax-deductible, which you might not have thought of. In addition, we will

provide helpful tips on how get the most money from Supplemental Security

Income, and other needs-based public benefit programs.

For those who may have met us earlier at the Family Care Council, or our many

engagements at the Family Café, we are scheduling a limited number of free,

individual consultations, while we are in the area, where you will understand

what you need to do, and each step to take.

Afterwards, if you are ready to move forward, our " Service Agreement " allows us

to guide you through the process, providing a list of qualified attorneys in

your area, permission to forward our notes to the attorney you choose, attend

the first meeting with counsel (in person or telephonically), review a draft of

your trust, and provide the first year's tax return if you create and fund a

Special Needs Trust. We also provide and assist with creating a " Letter of

Intent, " to create a living biography of your child's unique needs and your

goals, which will be of great value to future caregivers. Other referral

services and publications are available at no additional cost.
