OT - Computer question

I have a question for the computer nerds out there. ? You are one, right?

I use Outlook Express for my email. When I reply to a post, I type my response

above the post I'm replying to(most of the time), and then I have to neaten up

the stuff I'm replying to, as it is full of >>>>, and not wrapped nicely, so

that takes more time and it's a pain in the butt. Any suggestions to making it

easier?

HI Jeanne,

I put my cursor on something I want to delete, click once than drag it

along far as you need. Then hit delete. Not sure if it works in Outlook

Express though. Does work here on site.

Check the settings in the mail options. I think you can remove those >>> from

taking place. It has several options on " when replying " .

Jeanne,

I agree with Debbie - that's what I do too - just highlight everything you

don't want and hit delete.

Yes, that is what I do to delete. But I'm looking for an easier way to

clean up the message I'm replying to. I don't want to delete it because

people need to know what I'm replying to.

Thanks. I tried switching one thing in the sending options. We'll see if it

helps.

Sorry Jeanne but I'm not a computer nerd....my IQ is NO where near that LOL

Wish I could help but maybe someone else in the group will know the answer for

you!

Good luck
