Guest guest
I am reading the Acid Alkaline Diet by Vasey which a former Vulvodynia recommended to me and it is an awesome book and makes alot of sense how they body works, breaks down, and can cause issues such as vulva pain, etc.
Guest guest
YES. When i learned about Alakaine/Acid and changed my diet my V pain went down significantly overnight. Literally overnight. My first 9 months of V pain was a 9 or 10 by the early evening. Then I went to low acid coffee (only one cup per day) and changed my diet to a more alkaline diet and it has made a huge difference in how I feel (pain and overall health) I don't even think about oxalates anymore. > > I am reading the Acid Alkaline Diet by Vasey which a former > Vulvodynia recommended to me and it is an awesome book and makes alot > of sense how they body works, breaks down, and can cause issues such as > vulva pain, etc. >
Guest guest
I am so happy to hear this..I read that it can even cause the lacerations in skin that I have that the docotor thought was HPV..came back neg. I am just starting the diet. I thought I ate pretty healthy before but I ate fruits thinking they were alkaline but I guess some people do not handle the sub acid group well and I think I may be one of them. So what did you mainly eat? Lots of greens?
Guest guest
The thing that helps me a lot is that I juice vegetables. I have a Champion juicer and I juice carrots, cucumber, swiss chard, sometimes kale, beets, celery. Fruit is OK for me as it is alkaline forming. I squeeze lemon juice in my water, too. I completely eliminated soda and I have only cold brewed low acid coffee - one cup in the a.m. I avoid processed foods and sugar. I've used urine PH strips to make sure I was eating alkaline enough - as like you said everyone processes food a little different and what may be acid forming for some may be alkaline forming for others. Very strange! > > I am so happy to hear this..I read that it can even cause the > lacerations in skin that I have that the docotor thought was HPV..came > back neg. I am just starting the diet.
