Guest guest
Debbi J, Was this your comment to Angie when she brought up something that may be interesting to the whole group? Guess some people will believe anything they read. I like factual based info myself. So long!!!! Your exact words as an insult. But we are suppose to take this persons word! These kind of comments are a dime a dozen everyone has their own theories. deebs87 <dlohf (AT) sbcglobal (DOT) net> wrote: Nail Lunula Q: I have read that the condition of one's nails can sometimes indicate the possibility of disease. What would cause the lunula of a nail, or nails to disappear? A: The lunula is the half-moon shaped pale area at the bottom of nails. If you have large cuticles and small nails, the lunula may not be readily visible. It is usually best seen on the thumbnail. Some apparently healthy children and teens do not have a lunula, but most people do. The actual size of the lunula does not correlate with disease or health. The lunula may disappear in the presence of poor nutrition with protein deficiency and with chronic diseases, such as liver cirrhosis, heart failure, diabetes, tuberculosis, rheumatoid arthritis, and multiple sclerosis. Article Created: 1998-07-23 Article Updated: 1998-09-30 Dr. Rebekah Wang-Cheng is a former Professor of Medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Her medical advice column, which answers health-related questions from readers, also appeared in the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel. Not everyone has the answer and apparently you don't either. It looks like you went to a site just like Angie looking for answers and that is what you came up with on your terms. How do any of us know if that is the truth? You could go to many different sites and each site would say something different. All Angie did was find a site just like you did and passed along some info she thought was interesting. This is not a contest by no means. And Debbi not everything you read is the only answer. You see no one has a clear answer on the subject of Fibro. That is why people ( Angie, me,and whoever) go searching for answers and if we cannot post something of interest (maybe not to you) but is tantalizing to us and we may want to share it with the group. That is none of your concern, i Especially if you cannot be polite about it. It was just something she read and shared and there is NOTHING wrong with that. No one needs to be rude just because they may not have the same view. Please try and be more understanding and do not make comments that hurt someones feelings. Because it can come back and bite you. No ones feelings should have been hurt what so ever. So if you do not agree then say so with a little class and thoughts of what the repercussions of what you might say could be..
