I have found that CMS covers the BEhavior assistant but they pay them less than 20.00 per hour. There is a high turnover within this field and CMS emphasizes the behavior analyst to supervise these behavior assistants. The program can be useless if the behavior analyst can not supervise unless there is a behavior assistant in the program. CMS is going to have to increase the reimbursements for these assistants or they are not going to get much business. As a result of this reimbursement, many of the agencies do not accept CMS.

Are you saying the behavior assistant is paid $20 an hour or the behavior analyst? Through APD my behavior assistant gets paid $12hr, I am sure he would prefer to work for CMS if they were paying $20.

Just giving a range. It's most likely between 15 and 20.00, depending on the agency. Either way, you are not getting good, quality ABA for that price. It's more like babysitting.
