Developmental Dance Classes for Children with

Special Needs

Certified Dance/Movement Therapist)

Fall Classes will begin on September 12th,

2011

All classes run for 45 minutes

& take place at:

Jupiter Dance Academy: 861 Jupiter Park Drive, Suite F Jupiter,

Dance & Ballet for Children

with Special Needs

Mondays 3:45-4:30pm

(Ages 5 years old and up)

·

Positive and creative environment

·

Allows for safe exploration of space

·

Introduction to the fundamentals of ballet and

dance

·

Experience

rhythmic exercises, basic ballet techniques and creative movement

·

Develops

creative expression, body awareness and understanding of the basic body mechanics

·

Encourages

spontaneous and creative expression and builds movement vocabulary &

repertoire

·

Exploration

of space, musicality and a blend of movements based on basic dance techniques

such as Ballet, Jazz, Modern, Latin & African dance

·

Promotes

age appropriate social skills, peer interactions and relationship development and

most importantly having fun!

Class Rates

$25/class or 5 class card for $100

(Discounts are

available if your child attends the class with an aide or therapist)
