Flannigan was diagnosed with primary sclerosing cholangitis (PSC), a

rare liver disease that causes inflammation and scarring of the bile ducts

inside and outside the liver. As the ducts get more

scarred they become blocked, causing bile to build up in the liver, damaging

the cells.

This Friday, both ArLou and

Ron will undergo transplant surgery in Rochester. Ron’s new liver will be coming from his wife of 30

years……
