Guest guest
, I take Pancreas MT16, 4 w/meals and 2 w/snacks. The Pancrealipase is a generic and didn't work as well for me, neither did the Creon 20s. When I began to eat again, I ate VERY LITTLE fat and watched my protein intake as I was told protein is harder for the pancreas to digest. I also was told to stay away from caffeine because it promoted pancreatic function and we were trying to keep it from working too hard. Now, 10 years of chronic pancreatitis later, I can still feel my pancreas working hard if I eat too much fat or ingest too much caffeine. I hope this helps you and Fred in your hunt for pancreatic health!!! Hugs, See what's new at AOL.com and Make AOL Your Homepage.
Guest guest
I DO know your wealth of experiences are helping others. I like to believe so, it makes it that much more bearable. Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining... I do well for someone who has very few properly functioning organs! (LOL) See what's new at AOL.com and Make AOL Your Homepage.
