Guest guest
If baking usually cheers you up (even a little) this web site should do the trick! Be sure to check out all the cookie recipes (if you have time, check out the other recipes too.) This site is loaded with things to do (great for kids.) If you’re a brave soul - check out the Karaoke section. I know what it’s like being stuck somewhere, Ken & I spent 3 months away from home when he received his transplants. Maybe you can make some cookies and pass them out to the nurses at the hospital. It’s hard working on Christmas when you’d rather be home, cookies would sure lift their spirits too. Guest guest
Dear Barb, Thank you so very much for the wonderful website, and thinking of me. It was such a lovely surprise it made me cry (don’t worry too much, I cry pretty easily at the moment!). We are still living at home, but have to stay within an hour of the hospital…which is about where we live. Occasionally just for appointments it can take over an hour to get there. Hopefully when the call comes it will be out of hours..not peak hour. My girls are 10 and 12, so into baking easy stuff in a big way. I’ll also have to find some Aussie recipes if anyone is interested! Thanks again, Love Penny T (in Queensland, Australia…where the pool this arvo is 34C..too hot to cool off, makes me itchy!!!!) .. It’s hard working on Christmas when you’d rather be home, cookies would sure lift their spirits too.
