I agree with Robin..folks come from all over the world to see the pediatric neurologists at the Dan Marino Center. My own Dr. Torocsik is associated with them. But what I'm not understanding is, why did your stepson's teacher think he should be seeing a neurologist in the first place...did he/she give a reason for this request?

She said that he has been hyper and not focusing and concentrating during

school.He has an attendant with him to help him focus but something is not

working.We know he has a hard time focusing and we thought the concerta he is on

was helping but I guess not so that's why she told us he should see a

neurologist to possibly be put on another medicine.This is his first time at

this school so they are just learning about him and his behavior.We will be

having a teacher conference real soon to find out exactly what's going on.We

were just wondering if that's the right thing to do(seeing a neurologist)
