Vomiting doesn't necessarily mean the person is sick or has flu like symptoms. Predisposed to frequent vomiting is usually an indication that the person is too acidic which can trigger frequent vomiting especially if there is an inflammatory condition of some kind. Sounds like an emotional component has developed with the whole issue as well. If you can heal on a physical level most likely the emotional will improve as well. Hi guys here's the question I have I have a 16yr old with Autism and Epilepsy..last year a doctor diagnosis him with (UC)ulcerative colitis and i was so upset over this so he starting giving him medicines for it because he use to get all sick ( calmly forehead and hands then just start vomiting everywhere) he came up with this diagnosis thru a endoscopy and colonoscopy, well after seeing the meds he prescribed weren't working i seeked out to find a new doctor because the last guy never returned my phone calls and had no ideal how to deal with children with disabilities well now i have a Excellent G.I. doctor in Palm beach and he has came to the conclusion that my son doesn't not have UC and he has taken him off all the med the last doctor had him on just except for the previcd, now i have noticed he is still vomiting but not as offend like he use to but like every 3rd day or so he does it which is it's kinda strange to me he still have the same Symptoms like the calmly fore head but not the calming hands...then sometimes i catch him in the bathroom making himself vomit and i'm not sure if its for attention or what and i find that part kind weird too because he not sick nor do he has flu like symptoms when he's doing this..its like every year my son has some type of attention seeking behavior and it get very frustrated because with him i'm not sure if it's the real thing or if he's faking ( he's non verbal)... has anyone every experience there child forcing themselves t throw up for attention, now i do have a endoscopy to see what's going on...has anyone every heard of anything like or have had there child to have this type of behavior? Oh and his eating behaviors have changed he's not eating as much as usually but when he does eat it usually junk food like cookies , pizza, chix nugget, Tatar tots, ect...
