However, for my son, it was the period between 9 months and 18 months that I saw him stop moving forward; not regress, just didn't move forward as quickly as his same age peers. So, the study starting at 10 months (and going to age 4)...I'm not so sure I find it that intriguing. Yet.... I'd like to see the study replicated for babies from the age of about 12 weeks and on. I've watched and re-watched videos of my son and he was so engaging at this time (12 weeks old) and did babble and coo and make faces and look at adults eyes (not only their mouths as I've read) and engaged in back and forth "conversation." People commented on how engaging he was, his babble, looking, etc. Of course, I now watch other babies to see what they do and when they do it much more closely. From: walkman975@...
