Strategies for Providing Effective Vocational Rehabilitation to Underserved Populations September 21, 2011 3:00-4:15 pm (Eastern) Presented by the Rehabilitation Services Administration (RSA) and the National Vocational Rehabilitation Technical Assistance Center (NTAC) Overview This webinar focuses on cultural competence and the presentation of culturally sensitive techniques that can be used by VR counselors when working with underserved populations. Cultural competency will be discussed followed by specific examples of implementing culturally sensitive techniques with Native Americans and the Hmong population. The techniques presented have application across underserved populations.
