Does anyone live in West Broward, that is happy with the medicaid healthplan that they have; in terms of providers? I live in Weston and have an 18 year old that is eligible for medicaid but I am unsure of which plan to choose. Also, it looks like they all offer eyeglasses, but do not say from where. Does anyone have a positive experience with a particular plan? If I do not make an election, they will puthim in Universal Health Care plan. Thanks!

CMS = Childrens Medical Services is very good and your son can keep that until he's 21

I'm sorry I do not know anything about the medical plans, BUT you mentioned eyeglasses. I wanted to pass on a site that has Phenomenal glasses and CHEAP...UNBELIEVABLY SUPER CHEAP eyeglasses. I do not waste any money on vision plans after finding this place. it's www.zennioptical.comMy mom ordered a pair of trifocal glasses, with no lines and higher quality glass vs. plastic and a pair of prescription sunglasses with shipping her total was only $60....some'odd dollars. That's super inexpensive. Sorry I don't have info on the other question you're asking, but hope this option frees you up in the eyeglass department.Rose President, The Safety Sleeper inc. Hi.

My daughter goes to Dr. Wise ( opthalmologist) in Hwyd & Lifestyle Opticians located on Pembroke Rd. I know its a bit of a drive but I do it and have had phenomenal support from both places. Plus on straight medicaid (if that's the plan you are able to get) you get 2 free sets of glasses a year.

As for plans do not go to Molina - you can't get therapy. Try to get CMS if you can.
