Hi~

Can anyone tell me what the law is called that is supposed to start covering

therapies for our kids. I need to do some research, but would like to know what

I should be researching.

There is no insurance law...a PPO plan seems to be the best because it gives you out of network coverage for many of the therapies you might choose for your child. It's best to call your insurance company to see in advanced whether they will cover a therapy.

Passed in 2008 only impacts 14% of autistic children in the State. Employer paid

plans for companies with more than 50 employees. Self insured plans are exempt

which includes most employers with over 50 employees. Written by the insurance

industry.
