Guest guest
Sue - Thanks for sharing the pics - I don't believe I'll be doing that at all!! This is why it is such a onfusing disease... I have normal looking feet - except for the slight hammer toes and wicked high arches. My calf muscles are large and wrap around from the back to the front and my thighs are normal. I can not wear any socks that go further up my leg than an ankle sock due to the calf muscle thing. There is not enough elastic! Thanks again for sharing! It also tells the story of my CMT under the title of 'everything but CMT' There are pictures of me and my feet and legs and if anyone does look at my site please sign my guest book and any feed back would be very useful. Guest guest
, Everyone here is free to share with the group their child's webpage. The only links we really don't tolerate are ones that would be 'spamming' the members of the group. But we really love to see everyones little cutie pies! So if you feel comfortable sharing the link and the password, go right ahead!!! Guest guest
: Just like Niki said, it is no problem. Many of our parents, myself included, have included our child's plagio website. We're interested in seeing it! Guest guest
Sorry to bother everyone but I have lost a bunch of websites that I had saved. Does anyone know the website of the farm in Tennessee ( I think) that sold raw dairy products for animals? Thanks Larry
Guest guest
I am starting to make the milk based infant formula and I wonder if I can substitute Udo's oil or infalinic for the sunflower oil in the recipe. Thanks, Irene > Hi all: > > The various articles on breastfeeding and the recipes for infant formula are > now posted on the website. I suspect the EFA balance would be quite different. Sunflower oil is mostly omega 6 and oleic acid (like olive oil). I'm not familiar with either of the oils you mentioned, but I'd imagine they are " balanced " oils that provide a balance of omega 3 to omega 6. That would be bad since the milk formula recipe provides that balance using other ingredients like CLO. Balance is fairly important. Furthermore, you wouldn't want to use a " balanced " oil in place of the CLO *and* the sunflower oil because the CLO provides far more than just omega 3s. Vitamin A and Vitamin D plus the omega 3s in CLO are in a more valuable " elongated " animal form, whereas oils like Udo's are likely to use the vegetable form of omega 3s which isn't as beneficial. Guest guest
I imagine that Udo's oil would do since it has some sunflower in it. Let me know how your baby does with it. How old is h/she? Guest guest
Thank you for creating the awareness page/poster! I am a librarian in a public library and have been thinking about how we do not have any specific books, etc. I have ordered (just to look at first, and will buy if they are good), two books by Senneff " Numb Toes and Aching Soles, " and " Numb Toes and Other Woes. " Has anyone read either of these? I will let you all know what I think about them, after I read them, but am very happy to get the other titles from Gretchen. It would be great to have the press release, etc. I have been a little depressed lately and having some further physical problems but have been reading the emails here. It truly is a help. I have also been struggling about how to tell my children about this, particularly my married 25 year old daughter (since she may be thinking about children, etc.) I am relieved because I think that Gretchen's poster for awareness will give me a great lead-in and puts a positive spin on it. It will make it easier to start this discussion. Thank you so much! (What would we all do without Gretchen?) Also, I want to say welcome to all the new members. I am relatively new to this also and find it to be very comforting and helpful. It is so nice to know I am not alone in how I feel and dealing with CMT, etc. I know you will all be very happy that you found this site and joined! Guest guest
Hi Thanks for writing. I read Mold Warriors already and am anxious to complete the testing. I just received my HLA-DR test results but they do not match what is written in the back of Mold Warriors for interpreting the test results. Does LabCorp do different tests for HLA- DR? They told me this was the only one but now I wonder if it's the wrong one. After this, I just have the MSH to do. Everything else he told me to do was already completed. He did not tell me to test for Lyme though. Which lab and test are most reliable? I would like to get tested. Thanks for your help! > > > I am a patient of Dr. Shoemakers.
