Guest guest
The following video explains why you have to call your US Senator to give your support to S2860, the Seclusion and Restraint bill. Also request that you support the bill as originally passed and you do not want any amendment that gives the School District control over this legislation by adding it to the child's Individual Education Plan (IEP). In an IEP consensus rules and the school has the power by sheer numbers. This would defeat the whole purpose of the bill. Also request the Senator to co-sponsor the bill. If the bill does not get a co-sponsor, it will die. It is very easy to get completely absorbed in the video portion to the extent that listening to the audio becomes secondary and not completely listened to. The audio is very important.
