Guest guest
For the last month I have been having some URQ discomfort. the discussion last week was interesting but it did seem that few had found a cause, or a solution. Today I saw my tx doc, and he found an incisional hernia. I had not had any pain, just a new sensation, a bit of discomfort, especially when I walked, or twisted. When he started poking under my rib, -- then it hurt. Fortunately, the hernia is small, but since it won't heal by itself, I will have some surgery after the holidays. The surgeon who was able to consult, said he might be able to fix it laproscopically, but more likely it will take an incision. I hope this might help some of the other people who have URQ pain, or at least suggest that your docs might consider it and check.
