Guest guest
We took our high funtioning Autistic 10 year old son to the Neurologist yesterday for the first time. The Doctor had suggesetd doing an EEG.Is this going to help our son?Just wondering if anyone else has done this and if you can tell us more about it.The Doctor said the cost would be $750.00.Is that how much this test cost?Just making sure before we do anything.Thank-you all for your help! Guest guest
If you are going to spend that kind of money that it is much well worth the spend to have a qEEG which is a quantum EEG and this will tell you exactly what areas of the brain have difficulties - much more fine tuned than an EEG for a child with autism. Contact Dr. Gerald Gluck at the Brain Healing Center in Coral Springs. Dr. Wand is the neurologist there. 954 344-9772 We took our high funtioning Autistic 10 year old son to the Neurologist yesterday for the first time. The Doctor had suggesetd doing an EEG.Is this going to help our son?Just wondering if anyone else has done this and if you can tell us more about it.The Doctor said the cost would be $750.00.Is that how much this test cost?Just making sure before we do anything.Thank-you all for your help! Guest guest
Hi we had to do this when our son was 3. At that time it was a sleep deprived EEG to rule out any seizures. regarding visit with the neurologist We took our high funtioning Autistic 10 year old son to the Neurologist yesterday for the first time. The Doctor had suggesetd doing an EEG.Is this going to help our son?Just wondering if anyone else has done this and if you can tell us more about it.The Doctor said the cost would be $750.00.Is that how much this test cost?Just making sure before we do anything.Thank-you all for your help! Guest guest
Did the neurologist say why? Did he suggest what different interventions would be suggested given different EEG results? Our son went through two of these, the first when he was first diagnosed to see if there was anything out of the ordinary, the second after his first seizure to determine if he was having seizures that we couldn't notice but would show up on an EEG. If we had it to do over, we wouldn't.
