<<<<My point to all this is even though you are having doubts and upset maybehaving the hysterectomy and getting rid of that "evil" uterus could possiblyhelp you with your p/n.? Maybe it will not become entraped. My doctor thought mine was but since I havehad the surgery the pain I was experiencing has decreased dramatically.>>>>>Thank you, , for the kind words. I seriously wonder if my uterus has been thea big factor in the PN. I'm even kicking around the idea of contactingDr. Conway again and possibly asking him about doing the surgery. It

would be so much more convenient to have it here at home, though, but I am so concerned. I asked the gyn last week if she would contact Dr. C. and askwhat she could do to protect the PN and she said, "sure...no problem". In spite of all the PN this past year, and I have been able to have sex more in the past 3 yrs. then we have in our total 15 yr. marriage.I worry, will the surgery affect me negatively in a sexual way? I don'twant to ever go back to all the previous pain. I'm glad to hear thatyou said you actually did well sexually. I read a book on hysterectomyyears ago, because I've known for a long time this was probably in my future...I've tried so hard to fight it. I guess I'm rambling, but thank you! I may be emailing you down the road...Hugs,Chelle
