Hi,I'm glad I stopped taking the pill and I don't plan to ever take it again. Problem is - just stopping the pill (alone) may not be the only solution to reverse vulvar pain. The synthetic progestins in the pill can 'block' estrogen and testosterone receptors in the skin and you may need to use estrogen or testosterone or both in at least a topical form in order to nourish those receptors. I hope this makes sense! What are your symptoms? Do you see a connection hormonally? The pill won't cause vulvar pain in every woman with vulvodynia, but it certainly will for some. Take Care,ChelleHas anyone found relieve from going off the pill? What has helped?
