Guest guest
Just a thought, I went to both these Dr's with my symptoms, even had respitory problems, and still have cycles, and saw Pulmonary Dr, but it only took the 1 visit couple of tests right in the office look at my hands and was told of FM which my primary had thought but this Dr. is qualified to do accurate diagnois, which was my Rhuemotologist, I think that is where you should be, as she also has found the right meds to help with symptoms. just a suggestion,as I had been a frequent flyer at the MRI site, and with FM nothing will show. Good Luck that you get the right help quickly Sharon magicaldream411 wrote: Please when you find out the dates of the awareness day..post it asap. Last I saw posted..was the butterfly pins, instead of the purple ribbons and wristbands. Let us all know please which. I haven't been diagnosed with FM, however..my pain is worse some days more than others. Mostly hip, leg..shoulders, and neck. Recently had a MRI done, and my neurologist hasn't yet contacted me about the results of it, I was told would be 7 to 10 days.. My regular physician has put me on Lyrica, and it seems to help, unlike neurotin, that made me more tired and un-motivated than I was before and sure didn't take away the pain. Oh, about the FM suspiciions..both my regular doc, and my neurologist have both said it probably is, but wanna make sure is not something more. God Bless and Be With all you Fibromites.and suspected ones too.. said, " Ok, we have this fairly sizeable group of people from all over the US and in several European countries, why aren't we marching as they do for cancer patients to raise awareness and raise money for more > studies??? But there is a National Fibromyalgia Awareness Day, I believe in April. I think the media will probably give it more attention this year because of the Lyrica commercials. I want to get/wear purple ribbons rather than the wrist bands. > Of course, I don't go out in public much, but my mom and sister would probably wear one for me, and my girls and DH, too. > Guess that's enough rambling for now. > Jeanne in WI > >
