Building Inclusive Communities that Support Children's Success

This half day session will educate attendees on the benefits of inclusion for children with special needs, as well as for children who are typically developing. This training will provide program staff, leadership and volunteers with the tools necessary to fully understand the rationale for including children with disabilities in out-of-school time programs. Inspiring and informational, this training will give you new perspective as you work to serve all children. Program participants will define inclusion in ways that make sense to their local setting, community and families.
