Guest guest
Thankyou for your comment, just read a post from a nurse who broke down what b-12 was and what some Dr. believed what some of it converts to or possibly. Anyway, any info is good for me to know, I know alot about meds, as I am a Med Tech, but not this. I just wonder why I have been denied it, do these that have used it and use it get labs done, and Dr. determines from there?, or since it is a vitaman shot, do most Dr. agree to let anyone try. I just have been grasping at anything that might work for me besides all these meds. I will ask again when I go for my next follow-up why I have been turned down, maybe they just don't think it will work so won't try??, but I have great Dr.'s, and the other one was out in CA who said No. Maybe like I said because of my other conditions they won't do. Hope your having a ok day. Sharon Jeanne and Dave wrote: For most people B12 is not toxic. I believe the body just flushes out what it doesn't need. Some of you nurse people correct me if I'm wrong. Jeanne in WI I know b-12 is a vita shot, and my friend in Ca got it monthly for yrs. But when I started experiencing what I now know are fibro symtoms, I had inquired through my physician if I could be purt on it to see if it would help with fatigue etc. he turned me down. Since then I have asked again, and am in Mass. and the Drl refused also saying it can be harmvull unless they were to find in my labs something pointing to I needed it, they will not give it. I have heard it worked wonders on some who have used, but also know even thought it is a vitaman they can cause serious conditions also. ???? It may have to do with some of my other meds I am on, my thyroid condition, history of blood clots, I just know I can't get it. Thanks for the info though.
