Guest guest
It talks about changing the name of CFS to something more MEDICAL, something more BELIEVABLE. CFS isn't a believable condition according to many, it is thought that the person suffering is lazy. When I was diagnosed with CFS, I was walking four miles a day, eating a reasonable diet, working 40 hours a week, and more. Does that sound like a lazy person? I, at this point, feel lucky if I can walk 4 miles a week, and work from home for nothing right now, because no one would offer me a job that will let me stay at home. Guest guest
I haven't seen the article but when I mentioned CFS to my rheum, he said they are/have come up with another term for it, although he didn't specify. He did say I am an acute mono sufferer so which one triggers the flares is anyone's guess. Darlene > > It talks about changing the name of CFS to something more MEDICAL, > something more BELIEVABLE. Guest guest
Yeah, I have heard of that. I just am not sure the general public will have anymore belief in this damn disease or not. It is worth a try though if they want to change the name. I believe that in Britain the name has already been ME. love and hugs, Debra V. wrote: It talks about changing the name of CFS to something more MEDICAL, something more BELIEVABLE.
