Goodsearch and Goodshop for the NVA

Hi, everyone,

An easy way to donate to the NVA (or really any charity you wish-but

the NVA is at least working to help us) is through Goodsearch. If you

do your internet searches on www.goodsearch.com they donate a penny for

each search. If you click onto amazon.com, gap.com or one of dozens of

other stores through goodshop.com instead of going directly there they

will donate a % of what you buy to the NVA. I did basically all of my

shopping via internet this year, so whenever I bought from one of the

participating organizations I did it through goodshop and opted for

either the NVA or the Humane Society to get the donation.

Happy holidays and wishing you all a pain-free and healthy New Year.

Hi ,

That was interesting info. Also the fact that you support the Humane Society is

great. I am still feeling awful that I didn't stop at try to pick up this cat

who was sitting by the side of a local road where there are no houses. We have

four cats and I was afraid of potential cat diseases. Feel so guilty. Animals

are being deserted by the thousands these days. So awful. You are a good girl.

Sorry for off topic.

We all do what we can. Some days it's nothing at all for others and I just mange to get by-like when I was sick. Since I've been feeling better I've tried to do a lot more for others to kind of bank good karma, pay it forward, however you want to look at it. I volunteered to see a veteran from Iraq with PTSD in my private practice for free, which amounted to hundreds of dollars "given away" on my part but he was one of my favorite clients and I felt like I got a ton back.
