Guest guest
Judy and Jeanne - we're under a blizzard warning here in County - I know you're both due for a bunch of snow too. But of course, before the snow started we had to have about 1/4 to 1/2 inch of freezing rain - bunch of branches down and everything is covered in ice - now it's snowing like mad. They're calling for 10 to 14 inches - geez, this after the 10 or so we just got on Thursday - good thing hubby finally went and bought that snowblower yesterday (he kept putting it off because he thinks he's superman). I'm pretty sure the incoming storm had something to do with the fact that I had been hurting pretty bad the last two days. It's almost like you can forecast the weather - the more you hurt, the worse the weather. Hope you're both okay down there with this nasty storm. Guest guest
Hi Teri It's Mon. and the storm has passed. We got mostly rain from the storm, but of course now it's frozen and everything is a mess. How much snow did you get? I can't wait for spring. This whole winter I have been flaring with one system after the next. I wanted to mention also how I was diagnosed with panic disorder back in 95. I was on paxil ever since, with no panic attacks. In Jan. my dr took me off paxil and started me on cymbalta. It scared me, thinking the panic attacks could return, but so far, so good. I would personally rather live through the fibro pain than to ever have another panic attack. Oh gosh, those are so scary, you're certain you are going to die! This morning my fibro wanted to attack my hands as well, and it's hard to type. So I well sign off. Stay warm and think spring!!! While it is wonderful to share our experiences with everyone on the list as to what treatments do and don't work for us, pls always check with your dr. Some treatments are dangerous when given along with other meds as well as to certain health conditions or just dangerous in general. 2. If you are in a difficult situation (doesn't matter what it is) pls don't be afraid to ask for help. It is the first step to trying to make that situation better. 3. To unsubscribe the e-mail is: Fibromyalgia_Support_Group-unsubscribe 4. Also, it is not uncommon for more than one member to be feeling bad at the same time when it comes to flares and b/c of that potentially take something another member says the wrong way. And that includes the things that one member may find funny (even if it's laughing at fibro itself) even though we who deal with illness whether one such as fibro or multiple illnesses try to keep a sense of humor. 5. Pls let's be gentle with each other, and if you are having a bad day pls let us know so that we can do our best to offer our support. Have a nice day everyone. Guest guest
We got only a dusting of snow. We had the freezing rain. DH went out to get the paper and decided not to go to church. Everything was coated with ice. Now today we are getting snow, supposed to be just a couple inches. Hope you are unburying yourselves and that your roof hold up. Take care. Guest guest
Thanks . The forecasters say we may actually make it through this week without any major snow. That's the first time since Christmas they've been able to say that. Jeanne in WI I hope y'all get some nice weather soon. I understand the flaring. Hope that improves also.
