Guest guest
I'm feeling kind of down right now about how young I am to have this...from what I see it looks like mostly women in their late 30s and 40s...I got this at age 18 after antibiotics and have had it since, and I am 22 now. Are there any other young women who were around my age when they got this problem??
Guest guest
I developed vulvodynia when I was 27. That was 3 years ago as I am now 30. Guest guest
Yes, unfortunately there are. In fact there are very young girls (like three years old, etc). I imagine others will comment. Guest guest
Hi. I am 28 and have had vulvodynia for about 5 - 6 years (most of which was undiagnosed). I didn't get diagnosed until October of this year. > > I'm feeling kind of down right now about how young I am to have > this...from what I see it looks like mostly women in their late 30s and > 40s...I got this at age 18 after antibiotics and have had it since, > and I am 22 now. > > Are there any other young women who were around my age when they got > this problem?? >
Guest guest
I'm 27 and I've been dealing with V issues since I was 22 - so not quite as young as you but close. It is frustrating sometimes to feel like I'm losing the best years of my life (at least sexually) to these issues. I understand! Guest guest
My pain started at age 21, after treatment for hpv. You're not alone! Guest guest
Hi there,I was 3 weeks shy of my 20th birthday when I woke up one day with vulvar pain, so you are not alone. I'm now 36, but I'm much better than I used to be. Hugs, Chelle
Guest guest
P.S. That was 10 years ago and I am much better--though not perfect--now! > > > > I'm feeling kind of down right now about how young I am to have > > this...from what I see it looks like mostly women in their late 30s and > > 40s...I got this at age 18 after antibiotics and have had it since, > > and I am 22 now. > > > > Are there any other young women who were around my age when they got > > this problem?? > > >

Guest guest
I received the information that I had VVS when I was 26 years old. I had a vestibulectomy and I haven't had any problems since. I think you can pretty much get it at almost any age. The group really helped me when I needed it the most because a lot of them already new what I was going through.Crystal
Guest guest
I was twenty three years old when my OBGYN told me he believed I had Vulvar Vestibulitis and I am now twenty five years old (bday Nov.30th). The onset of this in my opinion was after taking two rounds of antibiotics, which in turn gave me horrific yeast/bacterial infections every month. any others my age? I'm feeling kind of down right now about how young I am to have this...from what I see it looks like mostly women in their late 30s and 40s...I got this at age 18 after antibiotics and have had it since, and I am 22 now. Are there any other young women who were around my age when they got this problem?? The weather's getting colder, but the movies are getting hotter.
