Guest guest
I don't mean to offend anyone, but would like to reply to this e-mail. Unfortunately, the president has done away with a lot of jobs at NASA a place where a lot of disabled people held employment. I don't think the stimulus package helped the job market and now that the census count is over, more people will be out of work. I don't give much credence to this statement. It seems with so many people losing their jobs who aren't disabled, the only way to give jobs to the disabled would be to create " affirmative action " type jobs for the disabled. Those of us who have older children and have worked hard to find them employment, know that employers look first at people who do not have a disability. Most of us found voc. rehab. to be a waste of time and found our kids employment, so we know the reality of the job market for our kids, both in private industry and in the government.
