ChellePS - pass it along to any other vulvar pain groups you belong to! ;-) Participants Needed for Research Study For her master's thesis, Zoric, a graduate student from San Diego State University, is conducting a study on vulvodynia. Specifically, she is investigating how women with vulvodynia discuss their condition with romantic/sexual partners. Her goal is to discover how women can facilitate open communication and reduce anxiety/embarrassment when talking about the condition with their sexual partners. This study will also benefit general public knowledge and awareness of vulvodynia. At this time, she is requesting interview participants for the study. Participation is entirely voluntary, may be terminated at any time for any reason and is completely confidential. In order to participate in this study you must: 1) be 18 years of age or older, and 2) have discussed vulvodynia with a sexual or romantic partner. (Experiences may range from a one-time sexual/romantic encounter to a long-term relationship.) Women of any sexual orientation are eligible to participate. Interviews will be 30-90 minutes in length, include open-ended questions about your experiences discussing vulvodynia with your sexual and/or romantic partner(s), and will take place at a location of your choice. Phone, Skype or I-chat interviews can be conducted for participants who do not live in the San Diego area.
