Guest guest
I want to welcome all the new folks whom have joined...as usual I am way behind on reading. It has been a busy new year. First we rang in the New Year with a bad case of the flu. When most were watching the ball drop, I was cleaning up missed runs to the bathroom. It could only go up from there, right? Well it took us the next week to recover and by that time our Papa, whom also lives with us, went in for his knee replacement. He came threw with flying colors, thank the good Lord. I was kept very busy trying to help him and doing the usual housework and running, and trying to hide the fact that just moving was killing me.(The usual house work is light, very light now, I've given up hope of ever being able to clean like normal folks do.) I didn't need the guilt and lectures about taking it easy and not doing so much, I had no choice. I would hate for my Father In Law to feel guilty, he helps me so much with the kids and running, and hates to add more to my plate, but this was his time and I don't begrudge him that. He is a marvel, and back on his feet, not completely healed but that comes with normal walking and getting the muscles strong again. Ok, now Papa is back taking Larry Jr. to school and making small trips to stores, little steps, and things are getting to a normal pace, and guess what? FLU yes another bug zaps us. I'm barely moving trying to chase after (3) and Larry Jr. (6) whom seems to have more trouble hitting the toilet then his little brother does, cleaning messes and running into the doctors. This time around this stuff turned into ear infections, sinus infections, and bronchitis. I'm still on my second coarse of antibiotics trying to shake this crud. It has taken its toll on me along with this lovely Michigan weather, you know rain in the morning, sleet for noon, and snowing by bedtime! Yes got to love our weather. Well that about brings us up to date, just throw in the getting taxes done and other odds and ends and we are here, the present..and life goes on, I hope to start catching up with everything and everybody. If you see me on give me a shout, I'll try not to whine at you too much. in Michigan
Guest guest
Thanks for the update, . We Wisconsin cheeseheads have been complaining muchly about the weather this winter as well. Hope everyone gets over their bugs soon and you return to some sort of normalcy at home. Take care.
