Hi Selena,

I feel so bad for you. I went to five pelvic pain PTs before finding a good one. They all seemed like they knew what they were doing. It took finally finding a good one to know that the PTs thus far had been inept and inadequate. I, too, used the tens unit on my back. It actually made me worse. I had the internal stretching and most of the five PTs had me doing kegels. I finally went to Prendergast in San Francisco ( www.pelvicpainrehab.com ) and started on my road to recovery. If I had given up on PT before finding her, I wouldn't be well now. Some people cannot tolerate PT, that is true. However, please don't give up on PT until you have been to an excellent PT and it hasn't helped. Did your therapist do skin rolling? That is a clue that they at least know a little bit about proper PT? Did she have you do

kegels? Where do you live? I live on the western slope of Colorado and I had to travel to San Francisco to finally get help. Dr. Jerome Weiss of Pacific Center for Pelvic Pain (the 23rd medical professional I'd seen) was the first to properly diagnose me with pudendal neuralgia among many other things.

Don't give up,

love, Molly

They actually put it on my lower back, since the nerves in your pelvic region are in your lower back. It sorta helped, but maybe just for a few hours. The actual physical therapy did absolutely nothing. I went for almost 6 months, too. Diet has been the only relief.Selena> > >> > > Dear sbabayancsrYou will get better in time.
