Guest guest
My 14 year old daughter is in a TV production class and this week the class is working in small groups to make short (30 sec.) Public Service Announcements. Her and her partner are doing 'Stop using the word Retard/Retarded' She has a wonderful idea in mind and would love to have a few short clips of a child with autism (or another related disability) showing their wonderful ABILITIES. She's well aware that some kids have wonderful artistic abilities or marvelous abilities in music etc. so she's looking for anyone willing to share video clips and or still images of their child with their art work etc. and provide permission to use such in her assignment. It is possible that if the clip is picked in the top few of the class, that it would be shared on to the film rush and not sure where it would/could go from there. Unfortunately the deadline is Friday so anyone willing to share would need to send me their items ASAP. If your video is longer than 30 seconds that's fine too, she and her team will be editing everything to make it fit in their allotted time. Please send material to me directly as most groups won't allow for attachments and I'm on digests for some groups. Also young children are certainly welcome, but the older the child the better as this is to be gear toward High School students and she'd like for them to see that their peers that may look or act differently, still have some awesome skills and are as worthy as anyone else. Thanks in advance!Theresa
