Guest guest
Does anyone know of a good basic biology book that would help people (me!) trying to understand the immune system and therefore psc and other autoimmune diseases? I have been trying to follow a lot of the technical language and get some of it but feel if my basic understanding were better I would be able to build more quickly on what I know and can comprehend. I'm thinking pretty basic, like an introductory college course book. Thanks!
Guest guest
Hi ; These articles provide a pretty good summary to the immune system: http://www.niaid.nih.gov/final/immun/immun.htm http://www.merck.com/mmhe/sec16/ch183/ch183a.html You can also browse this online book: http://users.rcn.com/jkimball.ma.ultranet/BiologyPages/ For instance, this is the section on T helper cells in that book, and includes recent work on Th17 cells: http://users.rcn.com/jkimball.ma.ultranet/BiologyPages/T/Th1_Th2.html Best regards, Dave R. > > Does anyone know of a good basic biology book that would help people > (me!) trying to understand the immune system and therefore psc and > other autoimmune diseases?
