Does anyone have experience with how long the hyperactivity side effect of

increasing Pro-Efa lasts?? I have increased my son from 1 to 2 caps a day. I

did it a couple days ago and he's hyper and not listening today. His swim

instructor called him a spaz (young kid he wasn't trying to be mean). But he

wasn't listening and wouldn't standstill for more than a brief time. This is not

typical behavior for him. Please tell me it doesn't last long..=)

Thanks,

Amy

Re: [ ] update on constipation, Fiber/Efas

Glad to hear your son is responding to the fiber powder. My 5 year old has

major constipation issues. Just out of curiousity, what kind of fiber powder

do you give?

Thanks.

ph always seemed to have a burst of energy that came with a surge

related to increased omega doses. For us it was a welcomed " side effect "

since he had always been such a passive guy. So behavior that was nowhere

out of the ordinary for a 2 year old, but different for him. The moodiness

and increased activity seems to pass after 2-3 weeks. But after it passed

for us, we still had a more active participant in life in general. -claudia

We refer to my daughter being hyper/disorganized/unfocused/tantrum-like

etc as being " Twitty " or having some " twitty time " . I'm southern and

twitty was the word my family used when someone was off kilter, just

not themselves or just being a bit difficult. When I increased

Grace's dosages she got " twitty " after about three days and it lasted

10 days. The worst was over in about 5 to 6 days and then faded off

completely within 10.
