Guest guest
,do you know if coromega helps with speech development? My daughter is 20 months old and she jibber jabbers all day but nothing is clear. I have been looking into giving my daughter this but I don't know. I went to www.iherb.com this morning and they have enough for 42 orders right now. They just got a shipment in.They apparently were sold out after the article in Prevention magazine.I know it helps with neurologic problems, eyes, and brain.I am just not sure about speech.I remember reading a month or so ago that some parents in this group were giving their autistic child something for speech enhancement. It worked almost immediately.Like in a few days.I don't remember what it was.Do you or anyone else? My daughter isn't autistic but she has SID.Does this help for that? Thanks ne
Guest guest
ne, check out this site for the information that they have on apraxia. I tried the ProEFA for my grandson but he does not have apraxia and it did not give us the speech that we were hoping for. But you should research the site and see if you think any of this applies to your child. It has been awhile since I was on that list but I think it fits your child. Some said the ProEFA helped their child's speech better than Coromega. http://www.apraxia.cc/ http://www.shop-in-service.com/proefa.htm Betty Re: [ ] coromega > ,do you know if coromega helps with speech development? Guest guest
You're welcome! I'm glad she liked it so well. I hope you bought it from www.iherb.com because it is definetly cheaper there. I orderd 3 family packs and got a coupon for a free 28 count pack. Of course, 3 in my family plus my mom and dad are taking it. JJ
Guest guest
HI! Excuse me for butting in here - what is coromega? I've never heard of it and am interested now. Guest guest
I got it from where JJ mentioned- www.iherb.com it was quite inexpensive(about $27 incl shipping I think) for a 3mo supply. Its omega 3's and comes in these little packets you squeeze out on a teaspoon or whatever-looks and tastes like orange pudding. My daughter is SO fussy about taste/smell but it passed her test. I am thrilled since she won't touch meat/fish. --- In @y..., fstatum@c... wrote: > HI! Guest guest
Hi Silvia I wouldn't stop either, the EPO gives you GLA, the Coromega will give EPA/DHA and while the CLO has these it also gives Vit A & D in very pure forms. We are using Eye Q now which has GLA, EPA & DHA. Guest guest
Is this safe for my family? it certainly tastes better than flax to my son.....thoughts anyone? dennise robinsnd <Jill@...> wrote: Hi Dana, Yes, I had been to your site, which caused me to write my post...wondering if others have had similar experiences as yours. You are the only one who wrote back with a " solution " or cure. Why, by the way, did you chelate with only ALA and no DMSA? Is there a danger in doing that? Also, what kind of OLE do you use? How do you get that and things like Oil of oregano into a finicky 2 year old? Thanks for all of your information. I don't know how you do it. I'm completely overwhelmed and sad, just going through this with one child. And so perplexed. I didn't vaccinate and have breastfed him forever and used all organic everything, including our bed. However, I did use a supplement with chlorella in it throughout my pregnancy, and I'm going to test it for mercury. I also read that stevia has mercury and I used a lot of it as a sweetener. Guest guest
Does anyone use Coromega? That is the Omega 3 supplement my 2 year old son's speech therapist recommended. I wonder if it is a good enough supplement since it doesn't have Omega 6s in it. I like that it comes in an orange flavored pudding form. Guest guest
Yes I have been giving my son Coromega for a few months now. It tastes really good alone but I find the taste a bit strong so for my son I mix it with a small amount of vanilla pudding. He asks for it on a daily basis and I have noticed a change in his ability to imitate speech since he has had it on a regular basis. Only one packet a day for children or adults is all you need. It has a great orange taste with absolutely no oily taste or fishy smell at all. I tried the Nordic naturals for a while but Braydon hated the taste of it and after a few days to a week he refused to take it. Coromega can be expensive but if it works which it seems to for Braydon, I'm all for it. kristeenp@... wrote: Does anyone use Coromega? Guest guest
Have been using Coromega since 2000. My son increased his speech and fine motor development at leaps and bounds. My daughter takes it currently to help with inflammation . . she just had ACL reconstruction and it seems to be working. For those who cannot tolerate Vitamin C be aware . . . Coromega contains a small amount. I know my husband can't take it since he has hemochromatosis and was told to stay away from iron building products. Overall I recommend it to anyone who asks for an Omega 3 product. all the best, Joanne
