Guest guest
My beautiful 10 year old daughter with Aspergers and OCD and ADHD was Baker acted Tuesday night. She ran away from the psychologist's office and we had to call the police to find her. She has been doing so great lately, so this came as a huge shock. I was with her at the hospital today and she was wonderful... in great spirits. Then I get a call that she is having a meltdown and trying to escape to come home. My heart is breaking and I don't know what else to do to help her.
Guest guest
I went through this with my daughter when she was 24. It was the worst day of my life. But please hold on she will be there for 3 days and then come home. The most important thing is to find the right psychiatrist. I recommend Dr. Debra Mintz in Weston. She saved my daughter's life. Hang in there, I know what you are going through. This takes time. Make sure she sees a doctor when she comes home and make sure she takes her medications EVERYDAY.SandySent from my iPad My beautiful 10 year old daughter with Aspergers and OCD and ADHD was Baker acted Tuesday night. Guest guest
Please keep us posted on her recovery. Give it time, and give her lots of hugs. She should know that this is a sickness and it is not her fault. Make SURE she takes her medication the same time everyday and sees a psychiatrist very often. Especially in the beginning. With love and prayers, Sandy
