Guest guest
I am taking Questran 2-3 times a day. It's orange flavored, and all I have come up with to mix it with is OJ. However, the OJ upsets my stomach (AWFUL heartburn). Does anyone mix theirs in anything else? Crohn's 11/06 PSC 12/
Guest guest
, I was told to mix it with oj, which I do without problems, but the insert says you can mix it with anything...coffee, tea, soup, water, soda (very carefully as it will bubble up). I was told I was a whimp when I asked for OJ at the hospital once, they only mix it with water. Here it is sweet, but not flavoured, hence the other drinks you can take it with. I like OJ, so haven't tried (nor are recommending) the others. Penny T I am taking Questran 2-3 times a day. It's orange flavored, and all I have come up with to mix it with is OJ. Guest guest
Over the years I've mixed it with lot's of items. One key I use is to 'shake' mix it rather than try and stir it. I use like a small gatorade bottle or water jar (Sometimes with gatorade in it) and shake it two packets at a time. Mixes much easier than stirring it. I usually just mix it with water but sometimes I mix with gatorade, OJ, cranberry juice, etc. I also don't think it's that bad (Thus I don't mind it with water) but I guess I'm a weirdo since most folks think it's horrible... I'm taking 6 a day and usually mix a bottle and drink half before and after breakfast and lunch then 1 with supper and 1 late.
Guest guest
I mix mine with Sunny Delight OJ....that is the only thing that masks the taste....and shaking is much better than stirring. I also mix it up the night before because it dissolves much better that way and goes down without feeling like you are swallowing sand with your drink.
